And I'm not quite old enough to be the first-or-second-generation Huguenot Mark or Marcus Hardin / Hardouin / Hardwyn of the late 15th / early 16th century (my parents knew nothing of this history when I was named).

Nor am I the famous animal-trainer and coordinator Mark Harden of Hollywood.

I'm not the Mark Hardin who's worked so long and tirelessly on behalf of foster children, fighting child abuse and neglect

And I'm not the former owner of this domain name, a schoolteacher who liked being addressed as "Mister Hardin"
